What happens when a pet is in a genuine emergency?

You define the escalation rules. Calls that require immediate attention — a suspected poisoning, a post-surgical complication, an owner saying their pet is unresponsive — are routed directly to your on-call vet. ASPCA Animal Poison Control (1-888-426-4435, $95 fee disclosed inline) is referenced when appropriate. Routine after-hours inquiries are handled by the agent and summarized for you.

Will pet owners know they're talking to an AI?

The agent answers as your practice and does not present itself as a human. Pet owners generally recognize it as an automated system — and consistent feedback is that it is substantially better than voicemail or a generic answering service. No one expects a person at 3 a.m.; they expect to be heard and helped.

How long does setup take?

Starter: most practices are live within 10 business days of the initial onboarding interview. Pro: 5-day priority SLA. The setup fee covers everything — the interview, agent training, integration, and a test call review. We don't go live until you're satisfied.

What if I change my services or add species?

Send us the changes and we update the agent within one business day. There is no charge for updates. The agent needs to stay current to serve your clients accurately.

Is there a long-term contract?

Monthly billing, cancel anytime. The $745 setup fee is non-refundable after the agent goes live — that covers the build and training work. The 30-day satisfaction guarantee covers your first month's subscription fee.

What does the 30-day guarantee actually cover?

Can multiple staff members access the dashboard?

Yes. You can add your entire team. Each person gets their own login with the appropriate access level — front desk, head vet, practice manager.

Does the Pro tier really integrate with AVImark and Cornerstone?

Pro includes AVImark and Cornerstone integration placeholders — meaning we set up the workflow hooks and API connection points during onboarding. Full two-way data sync is on the roadmap for H2 2026. Today the integration captures the right intake fields and formats them for easy manual import.

What about after-hours emergencies I can't take?

The agent asks "Do you have your regular vet's after-hours number, or would it help if I found you an emergency veterinary clinic nearby?" It does not leave a pet owner stranded. Emergency vet referral is built into every tier.
